{project} TRUTH is an educational art movement that aims to bring attention to and create positive change regarding important matters ranging from local issues to global concerns through the creation, exhibition, and sale of original and meaningful artwork. It is a collaborative effort inspired by the unparalleled artist of American icons—Robert Indiana—the creator of LOVE and HOPE. Each piece of art is connected to a theme chosen by the collaborating artist and the work will be exhibited and available for purchase with the proceeds benefiting individual artist concerns and future collaborations. see {project} Truth on Exhibit

P1020656The letterforms of TRUTH are interpreted by each artist and abstracted from a topic of their choice. The manifesto connects us further. Original Truth Artwork was on exhibit at the Utica Public Library Gallery in March of 2015, and the associated infographics may be viewed on www.meetinghouse.co.

Screen Shot 2015-03-31 at 1.46.55 PMOur featured topic Suicide is a serious public health problem that takes an enormous toll on the United States each year. We have compiled some of the data to provide a basic understanding of suicide and its victims.

The animated infographic is an extension to {project}TRUTH and a portion of it will be exhibited at the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute April 3, 2015 – June 14, 2015. We plan to produce a shorter version and hope to create more of these in the future.
